I want to know what is difference between c# and c#.net,are these visual ,what kind of program I can write with each one ,I want to know every thing about these two thanks for give helping hand to me .
Whats is c# and c#.net please read the details?
There is no "C#.Net" because C# is a language that's being designed with running .Net in mind from the first day it was first thought up in Microsoft.
As far as I dealt it, it is not visual as in Visual Basic, you may think otherwise because Microsoft were a compiling suite company and their IDE is second to none..
Reply:As I understand it, .net is the library that is available to both computer languages and scripts. That is, VBscript and C# can both utilize .net which is a 9-Gig library of everything possible Windows can do. C# is part of MS Developer Studio. Many, many frameworks are being written to take advantage of .net using Python, SAX, MySQL and others. Kind of like Java, which has a 5-meg library. If .net wasn't 9-Gig, it would be awesome, in my opinion. The user has to have the 9-Gig library in order for a custom button to work, the same as in Java, except Java is smaller. Efforts are underway to write bridge code for Linux technologies to use .net. If you like the idea of C#, you really should look at QT Designer (link below). QT has a "student version" you can download.
Good luck!
Reply:There si no special language called c#.net . C# is a language which supports or uses .Net technology to write you programs. Dot Net is a technology developed by microsoft to make the programming easier and there by provide many facilities for interoperation etc
