Which one is better in .net tec. VB.NET or C#.NET?

I have some experience in VB6 in windows and C %26amp; C++ in DOS.


Wich one is better for me to start? VB.Net or C#.net?

if you are in lack of time and you shall start the programming very soon ... you have to choose VB.net but if you have a bit more time it's better to choose C#.(I think it will take about 10% time more than VB.Net)


but in each case ... when you become a programmer on any one .. you can start the otherone and be a programmer in new one vry soon because they are not very diffrent (except in syntax) this similarity is only for existance of CLR in .NET technology.


in .Net languages the objects and classes are absolutly the same and the only diffrence is the syntax .... but C# programs run very faster than VB programs.

But c#.net is more native to .net framework..


But both varies only in syntax.. so if you are going to start learning better choose C#.net
